On a celcius scale...the 100°C is equivalent to 5.684ohms and the ice point 0°C is equivalent to 5.204ohm
then
Let liquid temp be x
x-0/(100-0)=(5.490-5.204)/(5.684-5.204)
x/100=0.286/(0.48)
by solving for x
x=59.583°C
approx 60°C
so 5.490ohms is equivalent to approx 60°C
