using n = v in air/v in glass
n is refractive index of the glass
1.55 = 3 x 10^8 / v in glass
v in glass = 3 x 10^8 / 1.55 = 1.935 x 10^8m/s
Also, v in glass = distance / time
time = distance / v in glass = 0.006 / (1.935 x 10^8)
time = 0.31 x 10^-10s = 3.1 x 10^-11s
