Even if opposing lecturers are sacked the FG can still improve the universities to the state of international standard. If this opposing lecturers are replaced with others that have passion for their work not the union of illiterate that feel they are literates. Nigeria is up to 140 million and more with plenty of unemployed gurus not reluctant professors. FG if they are determine can do the undo to disband this ASUU union. ASUU should forget pride else divided they shall bargain besides not all professors are under ASUU.

I do not fault ASUU''s stand in this matter, however, if they truly are after the welfare of students and the betterment of Nigerian universities, then they should consider their salaries a small price to pay. Students have also lost a lot in this ongoing strike; rents of most students have expired, not to talk of their foodstuffs and provisions which have gone to waste. Some have been forced to engage in unlawful activities just to keep themselves busy. So pls ASUU reconsider.

My brother, lets call a spade a spade. If I may ask you which president in Nigeria ever seat with ASUU for that number of hours to negotiate with them? Let them (ASUU) come clear to tell the FG to increase their pay and stop all this noise of a thing. You made mention of ages of politicians, in as much as I hate politicians you will agree with me if you are not bias that of the point ASUU is demanding is increment in age of retirement. So who is decieving who.
