The Students’ Affairs Unit of Yaba College of Technology has officially released a disclaimer addressing the circulation of falsified information regarding school fees and hostel accommodation costs.

In a circular issued today, the Office of the Dean clarified that recent reports claiming specific charges for National Diploma (ND 2) students are entirely unauthorized and fabricated.

• Invalidated Figures: The college explicitly denies the authenticity of claims suggesting that ND 2 school fees are set at N130,000, hostel accommodation fees at N90,000, and utility fees at N11,000.
• Official Stance: Management confirms that these figures did not originate from the College Management or the Students’ Affairs Unit.
• Warning to Students: The institution is urging all students and members of the college community to disregard this misinformation.

The Dean’s office has issued a stern warning that any payments made based on these unauthorized or unapproved fee structures will be at the sole risk and detriment of the payer. Students are advised to rely strictly on official communication channels for information regarding financial obligations.
