The University of Nigeria hereby invites candidates who made UNN their first-choice institution in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 160 and above for screening exercise. Other criteria for eligibility include;

• Candidates should ensure that the names on their WAEC/NECO results are consistent and same with their names in JAMB.
• Candidates waiting to write November/December 2025 GCE and NECO are not eligible to apply.
• Candidates below the age of 16 years by 30th September, 2025 should not apply.

Online Registration 
Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only) through the Remita Platform at any commercial bank.

The online registration has commenced and will end at midnight, September, 7th, 2025.

Click Prospective Students

Select Online Application Form for 2025/2026 Admission Screening Exercise

Enter JAMB Registration Number

Generate Invoice

Proceed to bank for Payment or pay using your ATM Card

Return to Portal

Re-enter JAMB Registration Number

Complete Date of Birth and all other blank fields

Enter verified O/Level Subjects and Grades (also provide your Centre and Examination Number. Note: Awaiting Results candidates should list their SSCE subjects)

Re-enter your grades correctly

Upload Certificates (Ensure that their sizes are not above 100KB)

Birth Certificate (Candidates should ensure their date of birth is correct because there will be no provision for changes thereafter).

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES FOR 2025/2026 WHO MADE UNN THEIR FIRST CHOICE INSTITUTION SHOULD ALSO REGISTER FOR THE SCREENING. Candidates must ensure that their A’Level (Direct Entry) result presented at the point of registration in the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has been verified by the Nigerian Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System (NIPEDS).

Candidates are encouraged to visit the University website regularly for updates on the Screening exercise.
