The University of Benin (UNIBEN), Benin City, Nigeria, has officially announced its 364th Inaugural Lecture Series, scheduled to hold on Thursday, March 26, 2026.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Edoba B. Omoregie, SAN, on behalf of the Senate, staff, and students of the university, cordially invites members of the academic community and the general public to this prestigious academic event.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Ehimwenma Sheena Omoregie, a renowned Professor of Ethnobiochemistry and Toxicology. She holds several academic and professional qualifications, including a B.Sc. in Biochemistry (1992), M.Sc. in Biochemistry (1995), and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry (2003), all from the University of Benin. She has also earned multiple international certifications and fellowships.
The topic of the lecture is titled:
“Unearthing Nature’s Natural Cures: My Expedition as an Ethnobiochemist and Toxicologist.”
The event will be held under the distinguished chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Edoba B. Omoregie, SAN.
