This is to inform all candidates seeking admission into University of Maiduguri that the 2026/2027 Post-Admission Screening Exercise will commence from Monday, June 14, 2026 and end on Monday, August 14, 2026.

Accordingly, all prospective candidates are hereby advised to take advantage of this window of opportunity and do the needful, as there will be no extension beyond the stated date.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of TWO THOUSAND NAIRA (Two Thousand Naira) ONLY THROUGH REMITA PLATFORM.

2. Only UTME and DE candidates who selected University of Maiduguri as first choice during 2026/2027 JAMB are eligible for the screening exercise.

3.UTME candidates must have minimum of 150 except those courses for which higher cut-off marks have been indicated on the University Website.

4. Candidates must meet the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courses and have the right UTME subject combinations as prescribed in the 2026 JAMB Brochure.

5. Candidates who do not meet any of the above requirements will be allowed to change to another course whose requirements they meet.

6. All candidates must possess a minimum of 5 O'Level credits in subjects relevant to their proposed courses, including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings. In addition, Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of lower credit at National and/or Higher National Diploma level(s) or Merit at NCE level.

7. Only O'level result print-out(s) downloaded directly from the website of the National Examination bodies (WASC/NECO/NABTEB) or photocopies of original certificates will be accepted at verification.

8.Candidates are to ensure that their O'level results are uploaded on their JAMB CAPS profiles.

GUIDELINES FOR THE 2028/2027 PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE

1. Visit https://www.unimaid.edu.ng and click on POST UTME portal, it will take you to umstad login page.

2. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as username and umstad@2026 as password.

3. Upload a passport photograph (less than 20OKB) and set a new password.

4. Enter your phone number and email address, then dlick "Generate to make a payment of N2,000.

5. Provide your bio-data, A/O Level results, and upload the required documents.

6. Submit your application and download your aplication form.

NOTE:

A Only candidates who chose UNIMAID as their first choice in JAMB will be considered.

B. Cutoff marks and subject combinations are available for download on UNIMAID Website login page.
