It has been confirmed by the NUC commissioner that students of University of Abuja are to be transferred to other varsities.

A list of 6 universities are ready to accommodate these students with University of Ilorin set to receive the 324 engineering students.

Students in 300 level and 400l are to sort themselves out in Federal University of Technology, Minna, Federal University of Technology, Akure.

Ahmadu Bello University and two other universities have been assigned to takes students also.

Meanwhile the students are free to change their course of studies and have to sit out their second semester and starts the new session when it begins.

The University promises to meet up the standard of NUC so as to get the course accredited unlike when it started without been accredited some years ago.

All final year students will get their degrees but it'll go along with UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA as graduating school and not their transferred institution.
