The Senate of the 6th assembly,the SUG wishes to inform the entire university community by the notice of this memo of of her unanimous resolution on her plenary,held on the first day of June 2024 to suspend with immediate effect,the president eze johnpaul makuochukwu of the sug AE FUNAI.

The decision was made pursuant to the provisions of the sug constitution:

Page 17 subsection 3(c)

Page 16 subsection 2(m)(n),and page 5 subsection 5

The need for the suspension of the president has grown out of evident submission of the internal auditor,which shows that the stipend of an office, `director of finance' was withdrawn three times from the unions account.

On the basis of the aforementioned information,the Senate had further activated all the processes as provided for in page 5, section 9 of the sug constitution that will provide for a smooth,free,fair and transparent investigation of this submission and the office involved.

 As have always remained our objective,the Senate of the 6th assembly is committed to maintaining accountability and transparency in the activities and fiscal affairs of the union.
