A graduate of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Delta State Polytechnic, Oghara in Ethiope West council area of the state has been killed by gunmen suspected to be members of a cult group. The Delta state police command acting spokesperson DSP Edafe Bright, who confirmed the incident on Thursday, April 29, identified the deceased as Okpakoko Isaac. 

The incident occurred Tuesday evening, April 27, at Shawarma Hotspot, off Genesis Road in the polytechnic community. It was gathered that the deceased had just welcomed a child a few days before the murder.

According to reports, Isaac was shot by unidentified men who drove a white-colored Benz. They were said to have shot sporadically into the air, causing residents to scamper for safety.
