This is to inform all students of the State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS), Enugu ​that it has come to the attention of the Student Union Government that misleading and inflammatory content is circulating across various social media platforms. Specifically, there has been an alarming, digitally altered image that falsely depicts a threat toward our university community.

​This content is a malicious fabrication designed to incite fear, disrupt our academic environment, and tarnish the reputation of our institution. The SUG Executives emphasize that such irresponsible actions are not just unacceptable; they are dangerous.

​So we urge every student to exercise extreme caution and critical thinking regarding the information they share online. Before posting, sharing, or reposting any material, please verify its authenticity.

​Misinformation, especially regarding security, has real-world consequences that affect us all.

​Let this serve as a notification to the entire SUMAS student, the University Management maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding the creation, dissemination, or promotion of content that threatens the peace, security, or integrity of SUMAS and her students at large. Any student found engaging in activities that jeopardize the welfare of our campus or that run contrary to university regulations will be identified and may be required to face a disciplinary panel.

​Our collective goal is to foster an environment conducive to learning and growth. Please refrain from engaging in digital activities that undermine this mission. We encourage everyone to use social media as a tool for positive representation of our university.
