The Sani Bello Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of applications for its 2026 scholarship program. This initiative is dedicated to supporting the academic pursuits of eligible indigenes from Zone C, Niger State.
Eligibility Criteria:

Prospective applicants must meticulously review and meet all the following conditions:
1. Indigeneity: The applicant MUST be an indigene of Zone C, Niger State. This can be by origin, birth, or by having parents/guardians who have resided in Kontagora for a period of 15 years and above.
2. Institutional Registration: The applicant MUST be a registered student at a recognized public tertiary institution within Nigeria.
3. Study Status: The applicant MUST be a full-time student. Part-time students are not eligible to apply.
4. Institution Type: Applicants from private institutions or foreign institutions/countries are not eligible.
5. Academic Level: The applicant must be in his/her second year of study at the time of application.
6. O-Level Qualifications: The applicant must possess a minimum of FIVE (5) credits in either WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including Mathematics and English Language, achieved in not more than two examination sittings.
7. Academic Performance: Applicants must possess a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0.
8. Employment Status: Civil servants are not eligible for this scholarship.
9. Documentation: The applicant MUST possess original copies of the following:
· Birth certificate or Declaration of Age.
· Local Government Indigene Letter.
· O-level result.
· Secondary school testimonial.
· Transcript or Result Statement, duly signed and stamped from the applicant's institution, clearly stating the previous session's CGPA.
10. Screening Requirements: Applicants MUST present a copy of ALL credentials (as listed above), the online registration printout, Admission Letter, School Identity printout or valid means of school identification, and a photocopy of departmental course registration forms. These documents must be submitted in person on or before March 1, 2026.
11. Screening Process: The applicant's screening begins upon the submission of the documents stated above. Consequently, applicants are advised to make document submission in person.
Required Application Documents:
· Proof of Identity: A birth certificate or Declaration of Age.
· Local Community Connection: A Local Government Indigene Letter.
· Academic Records: O-level result and Secondary school testimonial.
· Academic Performance: A Transcript or Result Statement indicating the CGPA results clearly.
Application Procedure:
Interested and qualified candidates are to submit their applications via the official portal.
Application Deadline:
All online applications must be completed and submitted by January 31, 2026.
