Having performed creditably during her first term in office as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, the Governing Council recently reappointed Professor Adebola Adebileje for another two years with effect from 7th March 2021.
Professor Adebileje is one of the pioneer faculty members of the Department of English Studies, Faculty of Humanities where she rose through the ranks to become a full professor in 2016.
She is a highly revered member of the University with enviable track records of performance both in scholarship and also in community service through her membership of various statutory committees within the institution and to the nation.
