The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released a simplified step-by-step guide for prospective corps members (PCMs) and corps members who need to correct their date of birth on the official portal.

Follow These Steps to Update Your Records:

Step 1: Get Your Credentials
Obtain a 19 or 20-digit WAEC Verification Pin.

Step 2: Access Your Dashboard
Submit your initial registration, then log in to your personal dashboard to access the correction link.

Step 3: Select the Correction Link
Locate and click on the "Correction of Date of Birth" link within your dashboard options.

Step 4: Input Details
Carefully enter your WAEC Verification Pin, select the WAEC Type, choose your Year of Examination, and input your Examination Number.

Step 5: Verification
Click on the "Verify" button to sync your data with the WAEC database.

Step 6: Finalize
Click SUBMIT to save your changes or CANCEL if you need to review the information.

Prospective corps members are advised to ensure all details provided match their academic records to avoid complications during physical verification.
