Chizuroke Egodi Onuorah, a corps member and a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has died after she was allegedly poisoned by a man she turned down. The circumstances surrounding her death is still unclear.

Screenshots of a chat shared by one of her friends, shows Egodi alleging to have been poisoned by a man who was asking her out in Ibadan. Another Facebook user also claimed she died from "kidney related disease" after battling for months to stay alive. It is not clear if the kidney disease was as a result of the alleged poisoning.

Until her death, Miss Egodi was one of the best graduating students in the department of  Environmental management and the second best-graduating student in the faculty of environmental sciences and was posted to Oyo state for her NYSC.

Friends have since taken to social media to mourn her. See screenshots of the chats below;
