Following a one-page document, haphazardly written and unprofessionally published with referenced: CV/VOL.3/078/7RC/2023, INFO: EXTERNAL REGIMENTAL EXERCISE, and addressed as: TO: ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS C/O 7", credited to The "Directorate of Training and Professional Studies, Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil - Kano" with the intent to scam, swindle, extort or defraud parents/guardians of Cadets of the Academy, under the guise of External Field Combat Training Exercise. The Management of The Nigeria Police Academy under The Command and Control of The Commandant, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Ahmad Abdur Rahman, psc (+), Ph.D, wishes to denounce and dissociates itself from such document.

The Management of The Academy therefore state categorically that all financial implications for internal or external training exercise for Cadets are solely the responsibility of the govemment, including feeding and logistics during training. Hence, no COMPULSORY sundry fee of #74,570 to facilitate logistics as quoted in the document is charged by the authorities of The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil-Kano.

The Management wishes to further state for the purpose of record that the said Dop, ac Ahmad Umar Adam psc (+), Director, Training and Professional Studies, who purportedly signed the said fraudulent document electronically is not a Staff of The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil-Kano.

The general public are therefore advised to be wary of such fraudulent document and fraudsters, who may take any form of advantage to swindle, extort or defraud parents/guardians of Cadets under training.
