This is to inform members of the University Community that the Senate of Plateau State University Bokkos, has in line with the recent pronouncement of the Minister of Education and conveyed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) approved the closure of the University for three (3) weeks with effect from Wednesday 22nd February to Wednesday 15 March, 2023. The decision of Senate was taken at its regular meeting on Monday 20th
February, 2023, to enable Staff and Students of the University participate in the 2023 General Elections.
By this notice, Staff and Students of the University are expected to note the above information and comply appropriately, except those on essential services.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Yohana Daniel Izam is also using this opportunity to advise both Staff and Students of the University to vote wisely, be law abiding and peaceful before, during and after the elections.
Meanwhile, Lectures for the second semester of 2020/2021 academic session shall commence on Monday 20th March, 2023.
