The University Management of Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) has officially approved and released the schedule of activities for the upcoming Student Union Government (SUG) elections for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to an internal memo signed by the Dean of Students’ Affairs, Prof. M. G. Garba, the election process is set to commence in late April and conclude with the inauguration of new executives in early May.

Schedule of Events

April 24th – 26th, 2026
Commencement of the sales of forms and expression of interest by aspiring candidates.

April 27th, 2026
Screening of aspirants and official consideration of eligibility.

April 28th, 2026
Publication of the list of successful candidates and consideration of any appeal cases.

April 29th, 2026
Manifestations and Presidential/Candidate Debates.

April 30th, 2026
Election Day and the formal declaration of winners.

May 2nd, 2026
Inauguration of the newly elected Executive Council members.
