The Renaissance African Energy Company Limited, operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture, has announced the commencement of applications for the 2026 NNPC/Renaissance JV University Scholarship.

The scholarship programme is designed to promote academic excellence and support Nigerian undergraduate students with yearly educational grants throughout the duration of their studies.

Scholarship Categories

• National Merit Award (NM): Open to all Nigerian students.
• Areas of Operation Merit Award: Open to students who are indigenes of Renaissance operational areas in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
• Be registered FULL-TIME undergraduates in accredited Nigerian universities.
• Be in 200 Level with proof of admission into the 2024/2025 academic session.
• Not be beneficiaries of any other scholarship from entities operating in the oil and gas industry.

Required Documents

• Recent passport photograph with white background
• School ID card
• University or JAMB admission letter
• JAMB result
• 2024/2025 transcript or 100-level result
• Letter of identification from state or local government

Applicants for the operational area awards are also required to provide community identification letters signed by the Paramount Ruler and CDC/CEC Chairman.

Application Deadline

Applications opened on April 30, 2026, and will close on May 31, 2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the computer-based test. 1
