Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe,Nigerian first ceremonial President, popularly known as "ZIK OF AFRICA" whom the prestigious Federal university "UNIZIK AWKA" was named after annual lecture has been scheduled to hold on Monday,15 October 2012.

This was made known in Awka by the chairman of Anambra State council of the Nigeria Union of Journalist(NUJ), Tochukwu.O.Udoji.
The Guest Lecturer Sen. Ike Ekweremadu will speak on the topic:"True federalism and the political ideology of the Great Zik of Africa:Challenges of leadership".
The chief guest of honour is Governor Peter Obi while sen. Annie Okonkwo as chairman.
Other personalities expected to grace the occasion are the Owelle of Onitsha,Chief Chukwuma Azikiwe,son & head of Azikiwe dynasty, Senators, NUJ president Comrade Garba Mohammed, University Dons, Traditional rulers, Anambra State executive council among others.
