Purported video footage showing school pupils being whisked away in a van belonging to the amotekun security outfit, has caused an uproar from social media users. 

In the video, a lady behind the camera alleged to be a teacher in the said school can be heard saying the students were arrested for identifying as Naira Marley fans. She called them criminals and alleged that the students were all picked up from bushes around the school as they always skipped classes. 

Singer Naira Marley while reacting to the video, criticized those behind the arrest, calling it child abuse. He pleaded with the public to provide relevant information that will help in fishing out the school and those behind the act.

He also indicated an interest in meeting the "marlian kids".
