➤ Perioperative Nursing Accident & Emergency Nursing

The Post Basic Nursing course is a two-semester specialized training that is designed to equip Registered Nurses (RN) with theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for effective, safe and evidence-based nursing practice.

Admission Requirements: Applicants must:

• Be a Registered Nurse (RN) with current practice license obtained from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria
• Have at least five (5) credit passes in basic science courses which include; English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB O'Level Examinations. A combination of WAEC and NECO to meet the requirement is acceptable.
• Have at least one (1) year post qualification experience preferably in an acute care setting.
• Have approval for release by his/her employer for the full-time requirement of the course.

Method of Application: Forms are obtainable at the office of the various program coordinators, Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, Yola as from 3rd June, 2024, upon presentation of payment receipt of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) only into the Hospital's Treasury Single Account via REMITA in respect of Nursing Specialty Training.

Closing Date

• Sales and submission of admission forms closes on Tuesday 16th July, 2024
• Aptitude test will hold on 17th July, 2024
• While, Oral interview will be conducted on the 18th and 19th July, 2024.
