I love this, tanx for taking the bold step to speak out n making your children happy.

Wrong, the boss are u encouraging the students to be unserious. anyhow u want to see, maths is necessary and needs to be compulsory

Mathematics must 2b compulsory 2 ol student, bcos we text d capability of d student wit it.nd also we text dere analys thinking wheather dey can perform gud or nt.so mathematics is d bst especially 4 pure science nd technology...

MAKE UNA JUST SHOT UP THERE,IF U DNT HAVE ANYTIN TO SAY JUST KEEP MUTE,I LOVE MATHS BUT IT SHOULD NT BE BYFORCE TO DEM DAT HAS NTN TO DO WIT IT

most students doesn't like mathematics, if you make maths not compulsory for some courses, students will tends to run from some courses and there will b much competitiveness on dose course that u claim doesn't need maths, which will detiorate Nigeria education. that's bad, some subjects r to b made compulsory, maths should b number one cos it like a puzzle to intelligence, it's a subject that test and develop ur brain ability

Please friends. They withheld my gce result and i've been given admission in uniben. In my former result i had D7 in maths and uniben does not accept D7 in maths. What do i do now? Please friends flash or sms me 08098894190 for your advice and contribution because online clearance closes by this december and i dont want to stay at home for another year. Flash or sms me 08098894190. Thanks alot.

Mr WAEC BOSS you are actually wrong by saying that. Mathematics is being applied in our everyday lives. If one is into a dangerous situation, he or she is expected to act fast with just applying his or her basic knowledge of calculation in order to escape unharmed.
Mr BOSS, you are doing well today in your waec business, making your money as if there is no tomorrow. Do you think that without mathematical experience you will succeed? Lets be realistic here, without maths it may be difficult to make right decision.
So if you are rejoicing because he said this, you are actually at the wrong end. Embrace maths today and it shall be with you.

EVERY GOAT AND NAMA AND COWS ARE SAYING ANYTHING,BUT ONLY D REASONABLE ONCE IS SAYING SMTN,CAN U EXPLAIN HW U CAN APPLY MATHS IN A BAD CONDITION DAT SHOULD WARRANT MATHS TO BE A COMPULSORY SUBJECT,PEOPLE DAT ARE EVEN BRAGING OF D MATHS DNT EVEN KW IT.SO JUST CLOSE DAT TOILET U CALL MOUTH

Not even all science courses offer maths, poo! I hate maths, am just happy because soon i will say bye to maths, medicine, vet medicine, and some oda health courses dnt do maths,we only do it in year1,dnt know 4 oda school shaa,i rep vet medicine year1@unn

this may sound crazy but some truth may be found in it... seems a family member (most probably son or daughter) to the WAEC boss failed maths woefully in the recent waec....that''s why he''s pretending to oppose the compulsory nature of maths in olevel. #no offence# ...lol
