This is to inform the general public that applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates into 3 years General Nursing and 18 months Post Basic Programme respectively into the College of Nursing Sciences, Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Afikpo.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.

2. Candidates must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent (SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, GCE.) with a minimum of Five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in not more than two sittings.

3. Birth Certificate/declaration of age (Not Baptism Card)

4. Testimonial from the last School attended

5. A letter from your Parish Priest or Pastor/Baptism Certificate

6. Marriage Certificate (if married)

7. Original/Photocopies of all relevant documents will be sighted during interview

8. Three (3) recent passport photographs

9. Mode of Identification (NIN, PVC, Drivers Licence, International Passport)

10. Post Basic Candidates should submit their RM Certificate/License

METHOD OF APPLICATION

1. The sale of form commences from 19th February, 2024 at the College only.

2. Admission form/CBT exam is (N20,000.00) pay into First Bank, account No.: 3016944553, School of Nursing, Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Afikpo.

3. Visit the School with the evidence of payment, change the bank teller to receipt and collect the entrance form. (Office is open Monday to Friday 8:00AM-3:00PM) 4. Completed forms should be returned to the School on or before 15/04/2024.

5. The Courses for the entrance examination include: Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

6. The entrance examination is by CBT

7. Details of the interview will be communicated upon return of completed forms.

8. Candidates for the Post Basic Nursing, are to bring their Midwifery Notification and Licenses.

NB: Candidate are to bring along with them the original receipt of payment and all relevant documents. Only candidates who possess entry requirements and pass the entrance Examination will be eligible for interview.
