GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR NATIONAL DIPLOMA

1.1 The entry requirements for National Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology are:

a) Five credit level passes at Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or it’s equivalent at not more than TWO sittings. The five subjects must include Mathematics, English Language, physics and any two other science subjects.

1.2 The entry requirements for National Diploma in Computer science Technology & Statistics are:

a) Five credit level passes in GCE “O” level or Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include Mathematics, Physics, English Language and any other two subjects.

1.3 The entry requirements for National Diploma in Accountancy Banking & Finance are:

a) G.C.E. Ordinary level or its equivalent (Teachers Grade II, W.A.S.C., S.S.C.E.) with five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any other three subjects from the following. Economics, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Commerce, History, Statistics, Geography, Government, Agric Science/Biology obtained at not more than two sittings.

1.4 The entry requirements for National Diploma in Business Administration and Management (ND), Public Administration are:

a) The WASC, GCE ‘O’ level or the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE) with five credits including English Language and Mathematics (Literature in English and Oral English are not acceptable in place of English Language) and three other subjects from Economics, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Commerce, History, Statistics, Geography, Government, Agric Science/Biology.

1.5 The entry requirements for National Diploma in Estate Management are:

a) Five GCE O levels or WASC or SSCE with credit passes in relevant subjects to the programme, i.e. , Mathematics and English Language, a Basic Science and any other two subjects from Geography, Economics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Art, Woodwork, Literature, Metalwork, Accounting, Basic Surveying etc.

1.6 The entry requirements for National Diploma in Computer Engineering Technology are:

a) Five credit level passes in GCE “O” level or Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or their equivalent at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include Mathematics, Physics, English Language and any other two science subjects.
