The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has officially granted approval to Lens Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State, to run 14 distinct Higher National Diploma (HND) academic programmes. This development follows a successful resource inspection and accreditation exercise conducted by the regulatory body.

​The NBTE accreditation team had previously visited the institution on Monday, May 18, 2026, to assess the polytechnic's facilities, faculty, and readiness to deliver high-quality technical education.

​Following the successful evaluation, the management of Lens Polytechnic expressed its appreciation to the NBTE for a thorough exercise and a prompt response, noting that the approval is a significant step forward in advancing tertiary education in Nigeria.

​Consequent to the official approval, the management of Lens Polytechnic invites applications from qualified candidates for admission into the newly accredited courses.
