As at today 24th February 2012 the new institution is under reconstruction of old structure to meet modern and international standard, while new structures are been raised to make her stand in commanding platform.

The university under the headship of Prof. Goofery Okogba has been able to reconstruct for hostel with 56 rooms each, reconstruct the main lecture halls, and erected two new ones with three classroom each, reconstruct and build 5 block of offices with 10 rooms each for staffs, reconstruct for mighty executive edifice for to hierarchy of the school, reconstruct staff quarters for junior and senior cadre, a clinic, a block of shop with six rooms, a store, all roofed, plastered, electrified and finally two new modern halls are in their foundation stage.

Borehole have been drilled while officials of the Fed. Min of Water Resource and PHCN are working to fix water and power respectively.

However, it should be noted that construction workers are always on site to meet up with the deadline of completion even on Sunday.

Pertaining to Admission of new students, no news could be found in the university site but very few students have been admitted and names, course of study and duration found in Jamb website.
