The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), is now admitting students into its CAREGIVER ACADEMY for the training of Caregivers. Applications will now be accepted from suitably qualified candidates interested in this programme for the academic session which begins in September, 2024.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess the following qualifications or equivalents of five (5) O' Level Credit passes including English Language and Mathematics.

AGE PREFERENCE: Applicants must be within the age bracket of 25-55years.

DURATION OF COURSE

This is a 4 month certificate programme with two batches (regular and executive) for each academic session: Regular Batch - Classes hold only during week days.

Executive Batch - Classes hold at weekends.

There is also an option of international certification with a UK Caregiver Academy at an extra cost.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Interested and qualified candidates should obtain an application form at the Workforce, Planning & Recruitment Office, MRC Building, LASUTH. Completed application forms should be submitted along with photocopies of applicant's credentials, curriculum vitae (CV), two (2) recent passport photographs on a white background, WAEC/SSCE/NECO certificate or printout of result slip.

Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Lagos, for screening purposes. Successful candidates will be invited to provide original copies of their relevant certificates for screening during an oral interview.
