3. FRIDAY, 5TH JANUARY, 2024. a. Convocation Juma’at Prayer

TIME: 2:00pm VENUE: Kogi State Polytechnic Mosque

b. CONVOCATION LECTURE

Convocation Lecturer: Prof. Joseph Ittah Omada, TOPIC: Providing Food Security: The Role of Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.

TIME: 4:00pm

VENUE: 500 Seat Lecture Theatres.

c. CONVOCATION DINNER

TIME: 6:00pm VENUE: Rector’s Lodge.

4. SATURDAY 6TH JANUARY, 2024: Convocation Ceremonies for the Award of Diploma and Fellowship.

VENUE: Convocation Arena

TIME: 10:00 am Graduands and Invited Guests are to be seated by 9:30am

NOTICE TO GRADUANDS

Payment for Academic Gowns commences immediately. Collection of academic gowns and invitation cards from the office of the Dean, Directorate of Student Services (DSS) begins as from Tuesday, 2nd January, 2024, upon presentation of evidence of payment between the hours of 9:00am- 4:00pm each day.

PAYMENTS

All payments should be made to KOGI POLY CONSULT NIG LTD Account Number: 2032298468 at First Bank PLC. Appropriate Polytechnic receipts should be obtained from Bursary Department prior to the collection of Convocation materials, including:

a. Academic Gowns for National Diploma (ND) Graduands = N5,000

b. Academic Gowns for Higher National Diploma (HND) Graduands = N5,000 Payment commences from Monday 18th December, 2023 to Thursday 4th January, 2024.

GENERAL NOTICE 

Only duly accredited journalists (reporters, photographers and video cameramen) will be allowed to operate within and around the Convocation Arena. Such persons MUST have registered with the Public Relations and Protocol Unit, First Floor, Academic Office Complex, latest by the close of work on Thursday, 4th January, 2024.
