The David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences (DUFUHS) Uburu, Ebonyi State wishes to announce to the general public that the sale of admission forms for the 2026/2027 academic session into the following programmes has commenced.

Qualification for admissions

1. To qualify for admission into any of the programmes, candidates MUST make the University their first choice in JAMB. Such candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO or its equivalents. He/she must have sat and obtained a minimum score of 150 and above in the 2025 JAMB.
2. Other qualified candidates who did not make the University their first choice but scored 150 and above in JAMB can do change of institution on JAMB Portal to make the University their first choice before applying for admissions.
3. Candidates who did not write JAMB at all but wishes to study in the University can equally apply for the Interim Joint Matriculations Board (IJMB) programme of the University. The IJMB programme is for a period of one year, after which, the candidate can be admitted directly into 200 level without writing JAMB.

Please note that the sale of form closes by 04:00pm, 30th August, 2026.
Candidates are advised to complete their applications before the deadline.

HOW TO PAY FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME ADMISSION FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

Application forms are available online on the University website: www.dufuhs.edu.ng or www.kdums.edu.ng.

STEP 1

First Method: BUY UNDERGRADUATE FORM ONLINE

1. On the website www.dufuhs.edu.ng or www.kdums.edu.ng click on the admission menu, select online application and then Click here to Buy Undergraduate Admission Form Online

Second Method: ELECTRONIC PIN

1. Walk into any Bank Branch nationwide.
2. Request to make payment for David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences Undergraduate application form 2026/2027 on REMITA Platform
3. Pay the sum of ₦10,000 (Ten thousand naira only) and obtain payment slip containing a unique PIN.
4. Login with the generated pin for the Degree/IJBM/Inter-university transfer form application.

STEP 2

1. On obtaining the electronic pin candidates should log on to  www.dufuhs.edu.ng or www.kdums.edu.ng and select "Online Application Undergraduate" from the Admissions menu tab on the home page.
2. The next page will require the candidate to enter his/her phone number and e-pin against the fields provided and click login.
3. Follow the on-screen instruction after gaining access to complete the form.

STEP 3

Print the Form after submission.
