The Kaduna State University (KASU) has made the headlines for yet, another controversial policy, that many people described as tyrannical.

Following the protest carried out by students after the university increased tuition fees by over 200%, the university has now requested parents and guardians to sign an undertaking, promising to take responsibility should the students decide to demonstrate in future for policies that they deem unfit.

According to the undertaking letter, students who engage in any demonstration and protest against the increment of tuition fees would be expelled without warning.
