The Kano State University of Science and Technology (KUST), Wudil has been renamed after billionaire businessman, Aliko Dangote.
The state Commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba who made the disclosure said the university was renamed following the recommendation of the institution's visitation panel.
The change of name was approved at the last sitting of the state executive council, presided over by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, and transmitted to the state House of Assembly to study the relevant laws establishing the university for amendment.
The university has now been renamed Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUST), Wudil.
