Yesterday, ASUU in response to a question tweeted "Thinking of embarking on another 3 months strike action". It had only just called of its three-month strike in February after reaching an agreement with the federal government over issues concerning staff welfare among others.

Although it is still unclear what the union's intentions are, since ASUU went on to deny considering embarking on another strike, the tweet has since stirred up different reactions from Nigerians.
