Professor Adesanya indicated that records show that OOU has 12,045 students and had been given matriculation numbers, clarifying that those without matriculation numbers and records were not bonafide students.

Responding, the Committee Chairman, Honourable Adeyinka Mafe lauded management of the institution for achieving 92% of its budget within six months, advising it to always ensure its committee be aware of developments in order to render assistance whenever the need arises.

The Committee also visited the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), where its Vice Chancellor, Professor Oluyemisi Obilade disclosed that it has achieved 100% accreditation of all its degree programmes.

Professor Obilade also indicated that the institution had equally achieved full implementation of Point of Sales System (POS) of the cashless programme embraced by the state government.
