Entry Requirements ND (Regular/Evening)Programme:

i. Admission is through UTME and you must score a minimum of 150 and above in the just concluded JAMB Examination.

ii. Must have five (5) CREDIT passes at O/level at a maximum of two sittings as specified in JAMB Brochure.

iii. JAMB requirement is a minimum of four (4) relevant subject combinations which must include
English Language and Mathematics.

Entry Requirements HND Programme:

i. Must have ND in Relevant courses

ii. Must have five (5) CREDIT passes at O/level at a maximum of two sittings as specified in JAMB Brochure.

iii. A minimum of one (1) year post ND cognate working experience in field of specialization for
those with a minimum of Lower Credit.

NOTE: There will be no State Scholarship and Service (NYSC) for Evening candidates.

The Evening programme will not be open to staff of Imo State Polytechnic

POST-UTME EXAMINATION:

Candidates for ND and HND Regular/Evening are to seat for a structured COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT) / PAPER EXAMINATION on the following dates at the Imo State Polytechnic Main Campus, Umuagwo:

i.School of Business:18th to 21st August, 2014. Time: 7.30 am

ii.School of Science and Environmental Studies: 22nd, 23rd and 25th August, 2014. Time: 7.30 am

iii.HND1 Regular / Evening:26th to 28th August, 2014. Time: 7:30 am

iv.School of Agriculture and
Engineering:29th, 30th of August and 1st September 2014. Time: 7:30 am

NOTE: CANDIDATES ARE TO COME TO THE EXAMINATION HALL WITH THE FOLLOWINGS:

a. Hb Pencil

b. Rubber Cleaner.

c. Two (2) Copies of their Imo State Polytechnic Examination Photo-card

d. A copy of O’ level computer print- out

e. A copy of JAMB result computer print- out

f. ND Result/Certificate (HND CANDIDATES ONLY) from your last School

g. Other relevant documents - Corrrect name of your Autonomous Community

PHONES (HANDSETS), CALCULATORS AND MATHEMATICAL (LOG) TABLES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN EXAM HALLS AS THEY WILL BE CEASED.

MODE OF APPLICATION
All eligible candidates for the Post-UTME/HND1 Screening Test are required to obtain our e-transact login details from the following banks below at the cost of N 5,500.00. Log on to the Polytechnic’s website (www.imopoly.edu.ng) to complete the application forms. All completed applications should reach the admissions office on or before the 11th of August, 2014. Please note that you have to provide a working e-mail address as all mails to you will be through your e-mail, including your examination hall and seat number.
