The Office of the President, Students' Union Government (SUG), Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, wishes to address the growing concerns and discussions circulating across various social media platforms regarding the disbursement of the NELFUND support to students of the University.

The leadership of the Students' Union Government has taken note of these concerns and wishes to reassure the entire student community that the Union is doing everything humanly possible to ensure that the remaining students who duly applied for the scheme receive their payments. It remains the sincere desire and joy of the Union to see every eligible student of IBB University, Lapai benefit from this important intervention.

The Students' Union Government, in collaboration with the University Management, is working closely with the officials of NELFUND and maintaining constant engagement through the appropriate channels to ensure that the process is concluded successfully and that all affected students receive their payments.

In light of this, the Union kindly appeals to all students to remain calm, patient, and optimistic, as students' welfare remains our topmost priority. We are hopeful and optimistic that the remaining payments will be completed before the forthcoming Eid Fitri celebration, hopefully.
