SCHOOL OF PRELIMINARY STUDIES, AGAIE
One Year Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Programme: The Programme is designed for applicants to receive ‘A’ level training for a period of one year in Sciences. After the training, the students will qualify for Direct Entry into 200 level in the University of their choice, provided they pass the prescribed examinations. The IJMB is recognized by majority of Nigerian Universities.

Admission Requirements: Applicants must possess five (5) ordinary level credits in not more than two sittings which must include English& Mathematics plus at least three (3) other credits in relevant science subjects.

The IJMB is recognized by majority of Nigerian Universities.

Admission Requirements: Applicants must possess five (5) Ordinary level credits in relevant subject and in not more two (2) sittings, which must include English & Mathematics.

SPECIAL FOUNDATION PRE-MEDICAL SCIENCES PROGRAMME AT IBB UNIVERSITY, LAPAI, MAIN CAMPUS

The Special Foundation Programme is designed for preparing applicants who aspire to pursue their career in Degree in Health Science disciplines.

Admission Requirements: Applicants should possess five Credit passes in Science subjects of Chemistry, Biology and Physics as well as English and Mathematics at Ordinary Level and in not more than two sittings. Health and social work services certificate holders may also apply provided they possess the relevant ‘O’ levels. IJMB Science candidate are also eligible to apply.
Candidates will be required to pass IJMB to qualify for University admission.

SIX MONTHS/ONE YEAR REMEDIAL PROGRAMME AT IBETO (ARTS AND SCIENCES)

The Remedial Programme is designed to provide Arts and Science inclined applicants the necessary teaching that will enable them to remedy their O’ level subjects and afterwards, prepare them for JAMB & IJMB Examinations.

Admission Requirements: Applicants should have minimum of three (3) credits and two passes GCE Ordinary Level including English and Mathematics in Arts and Science subjects.

ONE YEAR FOUNDATION PROGRAMM IN FRENCH & ARABIC

The programme is preparatory for Language students who intend to pursue University degree in French and Arabic. Successful Candidates will equally be required to have taken UTME in the relevant subjects including French and Arabic.

Admission Requirements: Minimum of at least five credits including English and Mathematics.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application forms can be obtained from any of the under listed banks:
(a) United Bank for Africa (UBA) PLC, Lapai, Minna, Kontagora, and New Bussa.
(b) First Bank of Nigeria, Lapai, Bida, Minna, Kontagora.

Each Form is sold for Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) Only.

SCREENING/ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
The Entrance Examination is scheduled for Saturday, 20th September, 2014.

DEADLINE
Allcompleted Forms should be returned to the Office of the Academic Secretary, IBBUL not later than 15th, September 2014.
