The Unilag Post-UTME Exams usually consists of 3 Core Subjects, which are, English Language, Mathematics and General Paper. It was only in older years (Before 2011) that the institution usually test for other subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Physics etc.

The number of questions for each of the 3 core subjects usually varies depending on the years but not usually exceeding 100 questions.

For the institution, all post-UTME candidates will be required to write the 3 core subjects of English, Maths and General Paper, irrespective of the course being sort after.
