Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the various Postgraduate Programmes of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
B. Admission Requirements
PGD: A First Degree not below Third Class or HND with Lower Credit in a relevant field.
Masters: A good Bachelor’s Degree (at least Second Class Lower) or HND with PGD (Upper Credit).
M.Phil: A good Master’s Degree in a related discipline.
Ph.D: Master’s Degree with at least 60% or CGPA of 3.50.
C. Duration
PGD: 18–24 months (Full-time); up to 36 months (Part-time)
Masters: 18–24 months
M.Phil: 18–24 months
Ph.D: 36–48 months (Full-time); up to 60 months (Part-time)
Note: O’Level results are no longer required for postgraduate admissions.
D. Method of Application
Apply online at www.futa.edu.ng, www.arcsstee.org.ng, or https://afrigist.org.
Payment for application is ₦20,000 via the REMITA platform.
Ph.D candidates must submit a research proposal to spgsadmissions@futa.edu.ng (format: surname_school/dept.doc, e.g., Ojo_sos/che.researchproposal).
Non-FUTA graduates must request their institutions to send official transcripts with a printed Transcript Label to:
