The 2012 edition of the annual elections used to elect governing council of the Students' Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University of Technology Akure holds today March 22nd,2012.

The race is heating up for the post of FUTA SUG president which is keenly contested between Taofeek Adeniyi a.k.a (FOCUS);Fadoju Micheal a.k.a (McFad), Obanla Abiodun a.k.a (OBANLA) ;Azeez Akinsola a.k.a (Xplorer) and Dapo Awopegba a.k.a (D.P.O).

Election for other posts such as Vice president,Gen. Sec, Asst. Gen Sec.,Fin. Sec.,D.O welfare,D.O socials,D.O sports,&so on is also at hot spots.

THe FUTACOMM section of Myschoolcomm Implore all "Futarians" to come out en-mass and vote for the right person to move the Union forward!

Students are expected to conduct themselves and shun violence and rigging.
