This is to inform the members of the general public and most especially the pioneers of the new federal university oye ekiti that after much wait, the resumption date of the university has finally been set to april 27th 2012 while physical clearance starts on april 10th 2012.

Procedure for Registration of Fresh Candidates

STEP 1: Candidates shall present the original of the following documents at the Clearance Centre:
1. Letter of Admission into the University issued by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board and the
Federal University Oye-Ekiti.
2. Academic credentials and UTME result slip.
3. Acceptance Letter
4. Acceptance Fees Receipt
5. Birth certificate or sworn declaration of age.
6. Certificate of Local Government origin.
7. Letter of attestation from your parent/guardian and any reputable personality in the society vouching for
your good behaviour and conduct.
8. Four (4) recent coloured passport – size photographs with your name and course of study clearly written
on the reverse side.
9. Student Bio-data form from the school web-site
10. Certificate of medical fitness obtained from any government hospital.
Thereafter, candidates are to present three (3) copies of each of the items in 1-10 above to the Screening Officer in
the Academic Affairs Division.

STEP 2: After the Clearance officer must have certified that the candidate meets the general and course entry
requirements, he/she shall pay the appropriate fee using his/her DEBIT CARD. (You are advised not to share your
card details with anyone)
Thereafter, the Bank Receipt should be exchanged for the University Bursary Receipt

STEP3: All candidates shall present at the clearance centre the original and 3 photocopies of the university Bursary
Receipt for the payment of Service Fee and obtain the following.

a. Acceptance Form (FUOYE/ACAD/01)
b. Certificate of Clearance (FUOYE/ACAD/02)
c. Course Registration Form (FUOYE/ACAD/03)

STEP 4: All candidates shall:
a) Complete all the listed forms mentioned in step 3;
b) Make four (4) photocopies of the completed Acceptance, Certificate of clearance, Course Registration, form, Student’s Personal Data Form and submit them to the Clearance Officer. The Clearance Officer shall sign the Certificate of Clearance after all the required documents have been completed and submitted.

Step 5: All candidates shall proceed to their respective Faculty Officer for course registration.

Step 6: At the Departmental office, candidates shall be provided the list of courses for first and second semesters.

He/she shall enter the appropriate courses in the first and second semester course enrollment forms and submit them at his/her Departmental Office.
