Sequel to the approval of the University Management, we are pleased to announce that the 2023 Student Union Government (SUG) Election has been scheduled to take place on Friday, 11th August, 2023.

The Student Union Government Body plays a pivotal role in representing the collective voice of the student body, fostering unity, and addressing students welfare and concerns. This election is an opportunity for you to actively participate in shaping the direction of our university's students community.

Students who are interested in contributing to the growth and development of our university through the SUG, expression of interest form can be obtained from the Students Affairs Deanery at the cost of N5,000 for the post of President, Vice President and Secretary General; and N3,000 for all other positions. The sale and returns of completed forms commences on Saturday, 5th August, 2023 and end on Monday, 7th August, 2023 by 3:00pm.

We encourage all eligible students to actively engage in this process, wether by expressing interest in candidacy, participating in campaign activities, on casting you vote on the Election day.
