The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University Dutsin-Ma has released a critical update for students who are beneficiaries of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) but are yet to receive their refunds for the 2024/2025 academic session.

​In a statement signed by the SUG President, Comr. Nasiru Imam Muhammed, the Union has called on affected students to come forward and submit their details to facilitate the processing of these unpaid refunds.

​The submission exercise is strictly for students whose NELFUND refunds remain unpaid. The details are as follows:

​Venue: SUG Secretariat, Takeoff Campus, FUDMA (Office No. 2, beside the Auditorium).

​Duration: Saturday, 24th January 2026, to Tuesday, 27th January 2026.

​To ensure a smooth process, beneficiaries are required to submit the following documents:

​A formal letter for refund, which must include clearly written bank account details.

​The NELFUND remitter slip, which should be attached to the formal letter.

​"I advise everyone to remain calm, patient, and follow the right process. The Union is doing its best to ensure that all affected students receive their refunds," the statement read.
