Friends of the newly elected president of the National Union of Benue State Students (NUBESS), have swamped to Facebook to mourn his passing after he was allegedly killed two weeks after being sworn into office.

Comrade Manasseh Agudo, died on Wednesday, March 17, at about 11:06 pm at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital and his body has been deposited at the BSUTH Mortuary.

He was elected NUBESS President on February 20 and took his oath of office at the Ochi'Idoma's hall, Benue Hotels and Resort, Makurdi, on March 5th. Few days after his swearing-in, he started falling ill, and on Wednesday, March 17, he passed on.

Following his demise, they have been speculations that he was killed.
