Please, the attention of Management has been drawn to a spurious memo FPN/R/82/V/123 dated 2nd July 2023 and purportedly released by the office of the Registrar, Federal Polytechnic Nekede. The said memo stated interalia "that the three (3) weeks extension approved by the Management for the commencement of 1st Semester Examinations for 2022/2023 academic session will elapse on Monday 11th 2023". The fraudulent memo further stated that the postponed examinations will commence on "Tuesday, 12th July 2023".

This is therefore to inform the Polytechnic Community and indeed all students that the said memo did not emanate from the Office of the Registrar or Management of the Institution. The memo is from fraudsters and mischief-makers that do not mean well for our students and great Institution and should be disregarded. 

All are advised to always visit the Institution's website www.fpno.edu.ng for authentic and gazette information about the approved activities of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri.
