The attention of the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny in Rivers State has been drawn to a deceptive publication making the rounds on social media indicating that the Institution is currently recruiting academic and non-academic staff members with a call on applicants to apply.

The general public is by this notice informed that the said publication is not from the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny, and therefore it is fake. It is the handy work of Internet fraudsters intended to obtain the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the social media handles of unsuspecting applicants so as to hack their accounts and swindle social media users. 

The Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny is therefore advising the public to always look out for signed statements on the verified Facebook account of the Polytechnic, (Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas Bonny Rivers State) or the National Dailies and broadcast stations for genuine information concerning the Institution, please.
