Applications are hereby requested from all interested candidates who wrote 2014/2015 UTME and picked Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro as any of their choices of institution for a screening exercise.

(A) ELIGIBILITY
(I) Candidates who chose the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro as their 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th choice and
whose score is not below 150 in 2014 UTME.

(ii) Each applicant will be expected to pay a screening fee of one thousand naira only (N1,000.00).

(iii) Each applicant will also be expected to pay the sum of one thousand, seven hundred naira only (N1,700.00) for result checking, and verification of admission status.

(iv) Applicants are expected to complete the Post-UTME form on-line.

(B) METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates seeking admissions into the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro are required to complete the
institution’s application form available on-line at
www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng with effect from Tuesday `15th July, 2014 to Sunday 3rd August, 2014.

(C) PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM
Candidates are expected to obtain POST UTME confirmation slip (confirmation pin number printed on it) from any branch of the under-listed banks across the nation upon the payment of the sum of two thousand seven hundred naira only (N2,700.00).

The authorized banks are:
(i) WEMA Bank Plc
(ii) UBA Bank Plc
(iii) Skye Bank Plc
(iv) Union Bank Plc
(v) Access Bank Plc
Candidates should note that bank charges will be paid at the point of purchase.

(D) INSTRUCTIONS TO ALL CANDIDATES
(I) Log on to www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng

(ii) Click on the College Portal

(vi) Click on the POST-UTME

(vii) Log in with the PIN number printed on the confirmation slip obtained from the bank

(viii) Complete the application form on-line appropriately, up load your passport photograph;
supply your own valid phone number and E-mail address.

(ix) Proceed by confirming the details of your application

(x) Click on ‘submit’ to print your acknowledgement and examination slips.

(E) CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF FORMS ON-LINE
The closing date for the submission of the on-line application form on the Polytechnic’s website
is Sunday 3rd August, 2014.

(F) REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE
All candidates are required to bring along the following to the screening centre:
(i) UTME notification of result slip(you are advised to get the one that bears your photograph, if you don't have this, click here to get yours)

(ii) Originals and photocopy of the print-out of the POST-UTME on-line

(iii) Evidence of payment of screening fee.

(G) MODE OF SCREENING
Candidates are required:
(i) To come along with their writing materials (biro,HB pencil, ruler, eraser etc.)
(ii) To write an examination made up of questions in English Language, Mathematics and
UTME relevant subjects as stipulated in the UTME brochure for different courses.

(H) VENUE AND TIME OF SCREENING EXERCISE
(i) Venue: West Campus, The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro

(ii)Screening Dates: (a)Monday 4th August 2014 –All candidates in the School of Applied
Science.

(b)Tuesday 5th August, 2014 - All candidates in the Schools of Environmental Studies & Engineering

(c )Wednesday 6th August , 2014-All candidates in the School of Management Studies.

(i) RESULTS OF SCREENING EXERCISE
Results of the screening exercise will be uploaded on the Polytechnic’s portal shortly after the
examinations. Candidates are expected to log in with his/her application number to check results.
