Following Mr. President's approval of recommendations of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 in the light of the second wave of infections in Nigeria, Officers on Grade Level 12 and below are directed to stay at home for a period of 5 weeks, effective Wednesday, 23 December, 2020 and await further directive.

In view of the above, the Core Management Committee (CMC) at its meeting held on the 23 December, 2020, approved as follows;

1. Staff on CONTEDISS 9/CONPCASS 3 and below are to remain at home with effect from 23 December and await for further directives.

2. The above categories of staff are to work at home meaning they should not travel out of Yola without College approval.

3. Staff are enjoined to observe all the COVID-19 prevention guidelines being issued by the Presidential Taskforce.

Meanwhile, in the spirit of the festive season, Management has also approved an end of year break for all staff with effect from Friday 25th December, 2020 to Sunday, 3 January, 2020.

During this period, Departments/Units should ensure that College activities are sustained. However, those on essential services are not affected by this break.

Normal working hours will resume on Monday 4 January, 2020 for staff on CONTEDISS 11 and CONPCASS 4 and above.
