The University’s endowment drive has paid off with a donation of the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Naira by two generous donors. While the late Chief Abayomi Kehinde Akamo Foundation donated the sum of N400,000 for the Best Graduating Student in the Department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering at the launching of the Family Foundation held recently, Professor Peter Aiyedun of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering, FUNAAB has released the sum of N100,000, for the Best Graduating Student in the College of Engineering for the next 10 years.

Reverend (Mrs.) Elizabeth Adeyemo, daughter of the late Chief Akamo, who is a Principal Accountant in the University Bursary, said FUNAAB was one of the three higher educational institutions endowed with the Trust, others being the University of Ibadan and the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, which got N300,000 each.
