In a bid to make staff and students ICT compliant, the College of Medicine Ekiti State University has organized a three-day workshop entitled
“Use of ICT in Medicine Training”.

The workshop which began on Wednesday 27th February, 2013 was designed for Medical Students as well as Medical Practitioners who are interested in utilizing ICT in their research and practice.

Speaking during the workshop, a facilitator, Prof. Oluwadiya K.S. said that the internet was the greatest repository of knowledge in the world.
He said that learning how to search the internet should go with ways of retrieving the appropriate information.

During the workshop, the participants were trained on how to access journals, articles and other services on the internet on Public Medicine using the necessary media tools such as HINARI and Google scholar.
